Mahindra University has emerged triumphant once again in the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023 software edition, marking its fourth consecutive win and showcasing an unwavering dedication to promoting innovation and technological excellence among its student body.
The winning team, comprised of six exceptional students – Swarnim, Sayarnil, Ashwin, Kanishk, Deepesh, and Tanasi – guided by the expertise of mentors Dr. Bharghava Rajaram, Dr. Bhanukiran, and Dr. Gourav Saha, demonstrated exceptional skills and ingenuity during the SIH 2023 finals held on December 19-20 in Kohlapur. The team tackled the challenge presented by DRDO, focusing on the application of computer vision for vibration analysis of mechanical structures. Amidst fierce competition involving over 44,000 teams nationwide, Mahindra University’s victory reaffirms its status as a premier institution dedicated to cultivating and producing talented individuals in the realm of technology and innovation.
