The 7th International Conference on ‘Advances in Global Businesses, Economics, Finance and Social Science’ on November 11 & 12, 2022 was successfully organized by KIET School of Management (KIET Group of Institutions, Delhi-NCR) in association with SWOSU (USA); Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology (Uzbekistan) and Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (India). The Conference was inaugurated by Chief Guest- Dr. Rajan Saxena, Founder Director IIM-Indore, Former Vice Chancellor, NMIMS University, Mumbai, and Keynote speakers – Prof. Trisha Wald, J.D, Associate Dean, SWOSU, USA and Mr. Mamatkarimоv Оdiljоn Оxundadayevich, Rector, Namangan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Uzbekistan,
Dr. (Col) A Garg- Director, KIET Group of Institutions, Dr. R. Srinivasan (Hod-MBA & Conference Chairman), and Dr. Binkey (Additional HOD-MBA) welcomed the distinguish guests by offering virtual bouquet.
Dr. Srinivasan, HOD-MBA welcomed the guests and audience and presented Conference report in which he stated that more than 200 research papers were received out of which 109 papers were accepted and presented by national and international delegates from USA, Dubai, Uzbekistan and from across India. These papers were presented in twelve technical sessions which were chaired by eminent Academicians and researchers from different reputed Organizations. Dr. Srinivasan also presented his views by pinning his focus on ‘How drastically pandemic has changed the Global Markets in terms of their operations’- delineating the same he also discussed ‘How we are witnessing a multipolar world with China being the biggest manufacturer’.
Dr. Amik Garg, Director KIET Group of Institutions in his address, discussed the shift in the consumer behavior due to the new market disruptions and innovations. Dr. Odiljon Mamatkarimov, Rector, NIET, Uzbekistan, talked about the importance of international collaborations, which may help in tackling the challenges faced by the World. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rajan Saxena outlined the sudden shift in the platform and emphasised about the growing dependency on internet, e-commerce & digital economy. He underlined ‘how the consumers are now more empowered than ever’ and ‘how businesses now have to put extra efforts to meet the customer expectations’.
In valedictory ceremony, Dr. Hardeep Saluja, Professor from SWOSU, USA, Mr Robert Moore Bernardos, Director Global Affairs FNG Consulting, Rome, Italy, Dr. Yogesh Suman, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-NISTADS, were the invitees. Dr. Hardeep highlighted the advances in global business and role of management education towards the same and added about the significance of India’s role in transforming global economy. Mr. Robert Bernardos focused over the importance of students orientation in meeting global expectation, esp. once the COVID period is finally over. Dr. Yogesh emphasised on the importance Technology and how transfer of technology is useful for the global growth and human development.
Dr. Binkey Srivastava (Addl Head-KSOM) presented Vote of thanks to all the invitees. Dr. Mani Tyagi and Dr. Amit Arora along with all faculty, staff members and a team of 36 second year Students of the MBA department coordinated this conference successfully.
