Educating students and youth on the green revolution, pollution control, and sustainable development goals is in the best interests of India. Stressing on sustainable education, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, former Union Minister and incumbent Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddha Nagar constituency (Uttar Pradesh), shared his insights at the India International Education Excellence Awards & Conference 2023 on Sunday (April 30, 2023). As the Chief Guest of the conference, he also shared joy over Noida and Greater Noida becoming an education hub.
The conference was organized by Education Post and the India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML), at the India Expo Center, Greater Noida. The theme of the conference was Innovating Education and Skilling for Sustainable Development: Lessons from New Education Policy.
Along with the conference, colleges and institutions were awarded for their contributions in the Indian academia. The former cabinet minister distributed all the awards to the recipient institutions. Dr. Sharma and IEML chairperson, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, congratulated and bid lucks to all the winning institutions and schools for their contributions and future ventures. Dignitaries from the academia and industry shared some solutions and way forward on the other issues of the Indian education system.
Dr. Irfan A. Rizvi, professor at the International Management Institute, New Delhi, and Vice President, Federation for World Academics moderated the conference.
