New Delhi: Committed to the employable skill training, the Apparel Made-ups and Home Furnishing Sector Skill Council (AMH SSC) has decided to start a course exclusively for those who have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This course has launched on World Youth Skills Day. This four-day online certificate course is completely free, and anyone can join after registration. Dr. Roopak Vasishtha, CEO and Director General, AMH SSC said many people have been affected and lost their livelihood due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Keeping such people in mind, this course has been started through the Center of Excellence to help them learn new skills and get them employment. After getting skill training, candidate can get a job in an apparel company or can become a micro-entrepreneur by opening a tailor shop. Women who have lost their husbands due to covid can enroll in this training course to earn a living.

Scan Me“We are focusing to train on mask making, bag making, apron making, kurta, pajama, alterations (Shirt/Pants or Suits/Salwar) because these are most employable part of the sector,” he added.
